Hi, I’m Morgan, a mum of 3 from Norfolk and Money With Morgan is a family finance blog in the UK where I share real-life experiences of budgeting, managing money, and navigating financial uncertainty.
Money With Morgan started because money became something I had to properly understand not just out of interest, but out of necessity.
Last year, my partner was diagnosed with a brain tumour, he had to have emergency surgery and had to give up work. Overnight, everything about how our household worked financially changed. Bills, childcare, debt, benefits, and long-term plans all suddenly mattered in a very real way.
This blog is where I share what I’ve learned while figuring it out as I go.
This isn’t my first time writing about money.
Before Money With Morgan, I ran a personal finance blog where I shared budgeting, debt and everyday money experiences. Some of you may already know me from there, or follow along on Instagram.. and if that’s you, thank you for sticking with me!
I’ve been featured previously in magazines and publications such as The Sun, Bella magazine, and the Daily Mail, which reminded me how many people relate to the same money challenges I write about.
Money With Morgan is a continuation of that work, but with a clearer focus on family life, financial stability, and navigating money when circumstances change.
Money With Morgan is a family finance blog UK families can relate to when life doesn’t go to plan.
I don’t believe most money advice reflects real life.
A lot of it assumes:
That hasn’t been our reality.
Money With Morgan is about managing money when life doesn’t go to plan — when you’re trying to keep things steady for your family while dealing with uncertainty, stress, and limited headspace.
Everything I share here comes from lived experience, not theory.
This isn’t a place for get-rich-quick ideas or perfect budgets.
Here you’ll find:
I focus on what’s practical, repeatable, and manageable.
Money With Morgan is for people who:
If you’ve ever felt behind or unsure where to start, you’re not alone.
I’m not a financial expert, and this isn’t financial advice.
It’s one mum of 3 sharing what’s working for their family, in the hope it helps someone else feel a bit less overwhelmed and a bit more in control.
If that sounds like you, you’re very welcome here.
Morgan xx
